Oooooh BABY! If you're reading this, you're probably interested in either discovering new products, or hearing what products are my current go-too's! Or if not, well that's fine too... Regardless, below I am going to talk a little bit about my some products that I currently LOVE or would RECOMMEND to just about anyone!
1. Glossier Balm Dotcom --> this is my absolute favourite lip balm product on the market. Although Glossier has been a cult-classic for a couple of years now, I am a little late to the game. BUT they did recently debut a new flavour - mango - perfect for the spring season. I a have extremely dry skin and have struggled with chapped lips for years. This nourishing Glossier concoction both hydrates and soothes my irritated lips. As well, it comes in a variety of flavours, from sheer, to tinted, to glossy. My personal favourite is the the coconut - sheer, but tropical, taking me out of the cold Montreal weather and straight onto the beach.
2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oat & Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil --> FAB's newest product, this ultra nourishing and soothing dry-oil has transformed my skin. As I previously mentioned, I have extremely dry, Eczema plagued skin 24/7, no matter the season. Infused with colloidal oatmeal, long hailed for its reparative properties, and cannabis seed extract from hemp, I can rely on this product to dramatically reduce redness and flakiness. Because it is a dry oil, it absorbs instantly, leaving no sticky residue on your skin. Although the cannabis extract may seem sketchy to some, its all natural, soothing properties are a god-send and COMPLETELY safe. 10/10 reccomend!
3. Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray -->> yet another dry skin product :/ My mom actually gave me a sample size of this spray because she got it in the mail. I would say this is similar to the Mario Badescu rosewater and aloe spray, but this one is completely scentless and a bit more moisturizing. I spray this on my face for a quick pick me up, over and under makeup at literally any time of the day.
4. Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Rollerball perfume --> I actually came across this by accident, I was in a rush and meant to grab a different perfume but ended up with this one. However, it has become one of my absolute favourite scents, and perfect for springtime. A twist on the traditional MJ daisy fragrance, this scent is playful and floral with a fruity note. I find the rollerball packaging to be the best kind, you can take it with you everywhere without hassle (backpack, purse wherever!)
5, Glossier Lash Slick Mascara --> if you know me, you know that I hate makeup and rarely ever bother to wear any. My mom (the best lady) mailed me this mascara after she went to the Glossier store in New York. This mascara gets some hate for being very natural, but the formula is actually extremely build-able and long-wear. One coat gives you a beautiful daytime look, while multiple can achieve super-glam eyelashes. Seriously, Lash Slick is my go to make up product and I literally swear by it!!
6. Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow --> I tell everyone I meet about this product. If I am to put any sort of face makeup on my skin it is ONLY this. Although very sheer, this primer gives everyone a glow regardless of their natural skin tone. It is also purpose, both a primer, a skin tint, and a highlighter. Therefore, it can actually be used over or under makeup, or by itself. Simply put on thin layer, and your skin instantly looks 100x healthier.
7. Scrunchies --> I have been growing out my hair and have totally hopped on the scrunchie trend. As a kid, I was a competitive figure skater, so each of my costumes came with a matching scrunchie to put around your bun. I saved them all and recently pulled them out and have been using them in the place of regular hair elastics. A colourful one, especially NEON, is super in and instantly make every outfit and pony-tail just a little bit cuter! You can literally buy these anywhere from the drug store, to Claires, to Sephora, to trendy clothing stores .
